Verena

I am Verena. When I travel I always look forward to seeing nature – above and under water. As a biologist, I am particularly interested in ecosystems and their preservation, which is almost always directly related to an insight into the society of the individual countries. Understanding is important, even if frustration arises from time to time.
In 2008 I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Certainly, a challenge when abroad, but not an insurmountable obstacle. Sometimes this requires a little more communication, but it can also lead to interesting conversations. In my posts, I try to include tips and tricks to make life a little easier for fellow celiac disease afflicted travelers.
